It’s nearly December and tonight is one of Chorlton’s favourite nights of the year, the big light switch on at Chorlton Green with the lantern parade heading off from Beech road park at 5:30 and meandering down to the Christmas tree on the Green. There’ll be carols from our local choirs Glór! and Loreto High until the countdown and the tree lights are switched on by a very special guest at around 6pm. Come and support your local community and traders with a mulled wine or mince pie and enjoy the start of Christmas festivities. If you see me singing with the choir please wave or say hello.
Chorlton Blinds is also proud to be part of Chorlton Traders and their initiatives to support small and local business in our area helps to make Chorlton the vibrant and diverse community that it is. If you enjoy participating in our little local economy as much as we do then wrap up warm, get out and enjoy the frosty weather to support your local businesses – the TAG! pass it on card makes a great Christmas present and it’s also small business Saturday this weekend on Sat December 2nd so let’s make Chorlton really busy in the run up to Christmas.
If you haven’t seen the plans to change the centre of Chorlton and the precinct yet, there’s still time to feedback on what you think about these and other important changes in our area that will affect us all. The consultation is open until December 15th.
Finally, from Chorlton Blinds we’d like to say a big thank you to our customers and to wish you all a joyous festive time of year. We appreciate all the business you have given us this year and look forward to continuing in Chorlton for many more to come.
