We have been fitting blinds and curtains in Manchester City Centre for quite a few years now. Some of our first projects were covering windows in early city centre residential areas such as St John’s Gardens and Granby Row. More recently we have worked in some newer apartments both in recently built blocks as well as converted office buildings.
Chorlton is just down the road from Manchester City Centre so we are very conveniently based to work on the many new apartment blocks and homes that have sprung up in our city in recent years. There must be more residential windows in the centre of Manchester now than there have ever been. As we can still see many tower cranes amongst the buildings here, on apartment blocks still under construction, we know the number of windows is only going to grow significantly more over the coming couple of years.

City Centre Blind, Shutter & Curtain Guide
We have learnt quite a few things over the years covering apartment windows on the low-rise and high-rise blocks in our city centre. To help customers thinking about new blinds or curtains we have produced a short guide to some of the common things we have to think about when covering residential windows for customers in a city centre. The guide includes our tips on what factors you should consider when planning to cover apartment windows before you start thinking about choosing fabric type, colours or patterns. These are the things that we try to prompt our customers to think about before we come out with our samples, so they are more ready to discuss with us what solution will work best for them to solve any problems they might be having.
So if you are planning an interior design project for your city centre flat or are having issues with your current window coverings then have a read through. Hopefully you will find the guide a useful way to start off your thinking process.
