Am I the only person in #Chorlton who isn’t doing Dry January? I don’t know if it’s just me but I seem to be drinking more. Whether it’s the long, dark nights or the reluctance to admit Christmas is over, I’m finding myself tucked up by the fire of an evening with a good film and invariably a glass of something red in hand.
The New Year can bring with it a time for reflection and plans and one of my New Year’s Resolutions is to be better at posting this blog.
I’m currently aiming for more than twice a year so it shouldn’t be too hard to improve on that 😀. I’ve always thought that quality not quantity matters so I’m going to try to be informative, relevant and community focused. Obviously I’ll be linking it to advice on window coverings as well though!
On that note – if you haven’t already watched the much hyped film on Netflix ‘Bird box’, then I’d thoroughly recommend it and for once it’s hype that lives up to it’s reputation. I was literally on the edge of my seat and I don’t ever remember watching anything before which quite focused the mind so much on blinds, curtains and window coverings in general! 😂
Happy New Year everyone and if you are doing a Dry January please still remember to go out and support our local eateries and drinking establishments.
Speak to you all next month! Liz Chorlton Blinds
